Harder than parroting back the words in a script...

Being a voice over talent is fun, rewarding, and truth be told... a lot of hard work! But the main objective is to deliver quality work, and that means yes you need to have talent, but also it takes practice. What I find helps me to get ready to read a script out loud is to well... read aloud! Reading to the kids every night, reading billboards aloud as you commute to your "survival job", reading the ingredients on a package of noodles you are making for dinner... Read, read, read. All that practice will pay off the next time you get behind the mic!
